Internally displaced people assistance

Since the beginning of the war, Jewish communities have accommodated more than 10,000 refugees across Ukraine

The synagogues, Jewish day schools and other facilities were converted into volunteer centers to house hundreds of refugees, whose families fled the shelling in Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Izyum, Kharkiv, Bucha and other cities. Among them are many children, women, the elderly and people with limited mobility.

The Jewish community is providing them with food, shelter, warm clothes, blankets, medical and psychological assistance.
